This is placeholder template text, not legal advice — have a lawyer review and adapt it (especially the licensing, insurance, and liability sections) before this goes live, particularly given Health Rooms deals with medical practice space.
1. What Health Rooms is
Health Rooms is a marketplace that connects Hosts (practices with spare clinical rooms) with Renters (clinicians who need space) for bookings of one or more whole days. Health Rooms facilitates the connection and the booking — it is not a party to the space-sharing arrangement itself and does not provide medical services.
2. Accounts and eligibility
- You must be at least 18 and able to form a binding contract to use Health Rooms.
- Hosts and Renters offering or booking clinical space represent that they hold any required professional licence, certification, and liability insurance for their practice, and that listed/booked use complies with applicable healthcare regulations.
- You're responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity under your account.
3. Listings and verification
New listings are reviewed before going live, and Hosts may be asked to provide licence or insurance documentation. Verification reduces risk but is not a guarantee — Renters are responsible for confirming a space meets their own regulatory and clinical needs before booking.
4. Fees and payment
Hosts pay a monthly subscription fee per published room, billed via Stripe. Health Rooms doesn't take a commission on bookings and doesn't process payments between Hosts and Renters — the price shown on a listing is what the Host charges, and Hosts and Renters arrange payment for a booking directly with each other. Health Rooms isn't responsible for collecting, refunding, or resolving disputes over those payments.
5. Cancellations
See the Cancellation Policy for how booking cancellations and refunds work.
6. Liability
Health Rooms is not responsible for the condition of listed spaces, the conduct of Hosts or Renters, or clinical outcomes arising from use of a booked space. Hosts and Renters each carry their own professional and premises liability insurance.
7. Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after a change means you accept the update.
